The stars return to the same places every year, so stars alone can't prove a date. The Moon and planets move. Where they were pins your chart to one moment, and you can check it yourself for free.
- Open stellarium-web.org, a free planetarium run by astronomers.
- Set the place and the date and time from your card.
- Find the Moon and planets in the same spots as on your chart.

Good to know
Is that the real sky?
Yes. Star positions and brightness come from a published astronomical star catalog, the Moon and planets are calculated for your exact time and place, and the constellation lines follow the standard modern figures. Brighter stars are drawn larger, and each is tinted by its true colour.
What if I was born during the day?
The stars were still there, just hidden by daylight. Your sky shows exactly what was above you at that moment, with the Sun marked where it was, and your verification card explains it.
What if I don't know the exact time?
An approximate time is fine, since the sky barely changes in half an hour. If you don't know it at all, write "unknown" at checkout and we make the sky for the evening of that date; the engraving shows the date only.
Can I use it as a wallpaper?
Yes. Every birth-sky order includes a phone wallpaper (1080 × 1920) and a desktop wallpaper (1920 × 1080). On Android you can also set the video as a moving wallpaper with a free live-wallpaper app. iPhones don't support looping video wallpapers, so use the still.
Will it play on my frame or TV?
It plays on any digital frame or TV that can loop a video file. Check that your frame supports MP4 video, not just photos. The video is square, so on a widescreen frame it shows with dark bars at the sides.
Does the loop jump when it restarts?
No. The last frame matches the first, so it plays continuously with no visible restart.
Can I get a different size?
Reply to your delivery email with your frame or screen model and we'll send a version sized for it.
